Angel Helper
Angel Helper is a not-for-profit organization
with 501c3 pending that utilizes the power of journalism to make dreams
come true and help those in need. Our initial target cities for stories
are Seattle, St. Louis, Chicago, and Charleston, S.C. However, we want

Love Brook
Lovebrook.org was created as a tribute to her
former colleague and dear friend Brook Stanford when Linda ran a
half-marathon to raise money in his honor. She is training now to run
another half-marathon July 26, 2009 in San Francisco in preparation for
the 2009 Seattle Marathon in November. All monies will be earmarked for
Angel Helper in Brook’s name. Go to

Miracle Submissions for Miracle Book
One of my dreams has always been to write a
miracle book. I’m looking for the most amazing miracles in all
categories. If you have a personal story of a miracle or know someone
with an extraordinary miracle story, please contact me at
linda@awaywithwordsbylinda.com. For any
submission, the stories must be able to be verified and the subject must
be willing to be photographed.
Breastlessness Book
I was
fortunate to be contracted to edit this book after the author saw a
story I wrote on a cancer relay. What attracted me to this project was
that Nicole Bryant didn’t just write about her personal battle with
breast cancer, but she painstakingly comprised and provided a detail
guide to address every aspect of breasts and breast cancer. No stone
was left unturned. There’s a chapter included for men on how to support
their significant other through the process. There’s even a chapter
regarding breast cancer in men. We’re in the process of editing the
second edition.
